The story behind the song …
One of our earlier numbers, Russ and I wrote it for Kara because we didn’t have any love songs and thought she might like it. She ended up recording a vocal that was so intimate that it gave the song an incredibly personal feel.
It’s for anyone who just can’t help themselves. They fall for someone even though they know their obsession will ultimately bring about their own demise. The mood of this track reflects the darker side of love and builds to a huge cinematic finish …
