The story behind the song …

This was one of the first songs we wrote and originally recorded in Japan when Russell and Kara first met. It’s about a girl who doesn’t live up to her partner’s expectations but can’t seem to let go.

This track was really tough to pin down and has been through many lyrical changes, different tempos and all manner of instrumentation. After much experimentation, we finally settled on an electronica/rock fusion that ended up defining freewinder’s sound..
